Wright State joins $3.5 million statewide alliance funded by NSF to advance minority enrollments in engineering, scientific fields
Wright State University is part of the newly formed Ohio Science and Engineering Alliance, a consortium of 15 universities and four agencies funded with a $3.5 million National Science Foundation (NSF) grant to boost minority student recruitment and retention in scientific fields. (11/26/2003)

WSU Raj Soin College of Business to aid small businesses in global markets
A program to help small-and medium-size businesses expand their presence in global markets has been announced at the Raj Soin College of Business at Wright State University. The TARGET (To Aim and Realize Global Expansion Together) program will include practical, round-table sessions where participating businesses learn from companies with experience in global markets and college of business faculty with international business and marketing expertise.

Marcia Muller named Outstanding Fundraising Executive by Association of Fundraising Professionals
The Miami Valley Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) named Marcia Muller, vice president for university advancement and president of the Wright State University Foundation, Inc., Outstanding Fundraising Executive. Board of Regents awards Wright State Ohio Eminent Scholar
Wright State University has been awarded $731,250 for an Ohio Eminent Scholar by the Ohio Board of Regents. LexisNexis, a global leader in comprehensive and authoritative legal, news and business information and tailored applications, will match the award, providing a total of $1.46 million to create an endowed professorship in Advanced Data Management and Analysis at Wright State University.
