July 27, 2005 Ronald Cloyd receives Business Alumni Associates Award of Excellence from Wright State University Alumni Association The Wright State University Alumni Association named Ronald Cloyd, Dayton president of Huntington Bank, the winner of the Business Alumni Associates Award of Excellence. He was recognized during the recent Alumni Achievement Awards Ceremony.The Business Alumni Associates Award of Excellence is presented to Wright State graduates who have achieved success in the field of business while making meaningful contributions to their community. Cloyd is responsible for retail and commercial business in the Dayton and Springfield areas, including backing, investments, insurance and mortgage lending. He also oversees 13 banking offices, nine in the Dayton area and four in Springfield. In addition to his business responsibilities, Cloyd is a member of the Samaritan Health Associates Board and Dayton Chamber of Commerce Solicitation Committee. He is a United Way fundraiser, Springboro Saturday basketball coach and is active in the Centerville United Methodist Church. Cloyd is also an active volunteer for Wright State, including serving on the Raj Soin College of Business Advisory Corporate Board and the Raj Soin College of Business Curriculum Review Advisory Committee. He has helped raise funds for the university’s MTC Technologies Trading Center. Cloyd received his bachelor’s degree in financial services from Wright State in 1986, and his master’s from the University of Wisconsin’s Graduate School of Banking.
