Learn how small businesses can succeed at Internet marketing workshop
Because of limited knowledge, finances and computer expertise, many small businesses suffer when it comes to Internet marketing. What can they do to achieve success in this area so critical to success in today’s business world?
Several answers to this question will be provided at “Internet Marketing for Your Small Business.” This 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. workshop is scheduled by the Ohio Small Business Development Center at Wright State University for Thursday, Sept. 14, in the Student Union.
Topics to be covered include how to develop an effective Web site, how search engines work, how to convert visitors to sales and leads, key measurements of Web site performance and how to make an existing Web site more effective. Jerry Perrich, director of the Internet Marketing Institute and a nationally recognized Internet marketing expert, will direct the workshop.
Pre-registration is required, and the fee is $85 per person. For more details contact Diane Karsch at the Wright State University Raj Soin College of Business at (937) 775-3503 or visit the Web site http://www.websmartbusiness.com/sbdc-workshop.htm.
