Find out at the WSU seminar on Internet marketing for industrial businesses Statistics show that more than 90 percent of a manufacturer’s target audience uses the Internet to find the products and services they need. In turn, leading manufacturers use the Internet to generate sales leads. The benefits of Internet marketing include the ability to reach a larger audience, maintain an ongoing presence and measure results.However, not all Internet marketing is equally effective. Wright State University’s Raj Soin College of Business, the Small Business Development Centers of Ohio and ThomasNet.com are sponsoring “Is Your Web Site Increasing Sales?” a free informational, interactive seminar for industrial businesses on Wednesday, June 14, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Berry Room of the Ervin J. Nutter Center at Wright State. Along with learning what the latest research means for businesses, attendees will find out what industrial customers expect from a Web site. Businesses will also learn how to drive industrial buyers to their Web site, convert visitors into customers and measure meaningful Web activity. “This is an excellent session, with very useful information for everyone from the sole proprietor entrepreneur to the Web site designer,” said Bob Evans, sales manager for Pegasus Industrial Specialties, Inc.
