October 25, 2005 Young’s Jersey Dairy CEO to speak at WSU Human Resource Lecture Series How do you select, train, motivate and develop hundreds of employees, many of them teenagers in their first job? How do you instill in team members the attitude necessary to build and maintain a reputation for stellar customer service?Dan Young, CEO and “Chief Ice Cream Dipper” for Young’s Jersey Dairy and a 1997 graduate of Wright State University’s M.B.A. program, will present “We Create Fun for Our Customers: The Young’s Jersey Dairy Journey” to kick off the 15th year of the Human Resource Lecture Series sponsored by the Raj Soin College of Business and Right Management Consultants. The event is Wednesday, Nov. 16, in the Berry Room of the Ervin J. Nutter Center on campus. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m., with the presentation at 8 a.m. With over 300 employees, Young’s Jersey Dairy has become one of the Miami Valley’s leading attractions. Hosting over 1.3 million visitors annually, Young’s is a center of family fun with two restaurants, driving range, miniature golf courses and much more.
