August 25, 2005 Certification course on human resources set at WSU’s Raj Soin College of Business The human resources field is constantly changing. Dealing with issues such as labor relations, compensation, benefits and health and safety concerns can be a challenge to busy professionals.The Wright State University Raj Soin College of Business can help with its Human Resource Management National Certification Preparation Course. Monday, Sept. 12, is the registration deadline for the sessions, planned for seven Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., starting on Sept. 24 and concluding on Nov. 12. The course is approved by the Society for Human Resource Management and is targeted to professionals and entry-level human resource employees seeking to advance their careers and knowledge of human resources. Topics to be covered include strategic management, workforce planning and employment, human resource development, compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations and occupational health, safety and security.
