Wright State University is the lead institution on an award from the National Science Foundation’s ADVANCE program, to promote institutional transformation in support of women in adademic science. The grant will provide resources for a consortium of Dayton area institutions (Wright State University, University of Dayton, Air Force Institute of Technology, and Central State University) to collaborate on initiatives designed to enhance the recruitment, retention, and support of women in STEM disciplines. At Wright State, Michele Wheatly (Dean of Science and Math), David Goldstein (Biology), and Tamera Schneider (Psychology) are principal investigators on the project.
