Course Description:
This course is designed to introduce the topic of
financial literacy in an academic setting and to provide the
teacher with grade appropriate teaching resources that may
be easily integrated into the classroom. With the passage of
Ohio Senate Bill 311 mandating that every child in grades
9-12 will receive financial literacy, these topics are more
relevant than ever in a K-12 setting. The information
contained in this course is also relevant in earlier grades
as well. Teachers will personally benefit by acquiring a
sound foundation in everyday "real world" financial topics.
Cost:
3 graduate hours x $310 = $930
minus $531 tuition waiver =
$399
