Connect to Shared Drives through VPN on Windows 8

1. Start a command prompt as an Administrator. See About.com's guide on how to do this.
2. From the command prompt, type:
   sc config lanmanworkstation depend= bowser/mrxsmb10/nsi
3. Hit Enter.
4. Again from the command prompt, type:
   sc config mrxsmb20 start= disabled
5. Hit Enter.
6. Restart your computer.
7. Re-open the VPN client. You should now be able to connect to your shared drives.
