ANALOG-ONLY VIEWING INSTRUCTIONS

The analog-only RAIDERVision channels are available in some classrooms and labs on campus. HOWEVER, the A/V equipment configurations may vary from room to room. The analog-only signals have been routed through DVD/VCR players and are tuned via analog tuner in the VCR.

 
  1. Lower the Projection Screen (if necessary).
  2. Turn the Video Projector on.
  3. Turn on the DVD/VCR Player (if necessary).
    1. Select the power button on the DVD/VCR Player.
  4. Locate and select the "VCR" button on the DVD/VCR Player.
  5. Select the DVD/VCR input on the Video Projector.
    • Determine which of the following two methods of selecting the DVD/VCR input is needed for your particular room:
      1. Select the "DVD/VCR" button on the Extron switcher in the room.
      2. Find and select the correct input on the Video Projector?s remote control.
  6. Adjust the volume.
    • Determine which of the following two methods of adjusting the volume is needed for your particular room:
      1. Use the volume controls on the Extron switcher to adjust the volume up or down.
      2. Use the volume controls on the audio mixer in the equipment rack to adjust the volume up or down.
  7. Select the analog TV channel on the VCR.
    • There are two methods of selecting the channel on the VCR:
        1. Press the channel up OR channel down buttons on the VCR.
        2. Point the DVD/VCR remote control at the DVD/VCR player and:
          1. Select the correct channel by press the channel up OR channel down buttons on the DVD/VCR remote control.
          2. Select the correct channel number by pressing the numbered buttons on the DVD/VCR remote control.
