Mathematica for Faculty & Staff Home Use

The very popular Mathematica software from Wolfram Research is available for home use by faculty and staff. This offering is covered by the university site license program already in place.

Those desiring to use this product may request their Mathematica home-use software online at http://www.wolfram.com/solutions/highered/homeuse.cgi.

The above address will bring up an online questionnaire that must be filled out in order to obtain the Mathematica software.  You will need to provide Wright State University's site license number, which is L2345-0764.  It is required that employment status be verified as part of the request.  In the Proof of Eligibility section of the form, click on the first button ("My status can be verified via our online staff directory at the following URL:") and enter http://www.wright.edu/cgibin/ldap.cgi .

The procedure above will work for those who are requesting a home-use copy of Mathematica for the first time as well as for those who wish to upgrade existing home-use copies of the software to the newest version.  Those in the latter category must provide their existing home-use license number.

Once processed, Wolfram Research will provide the current version of Mathematica in the format you specify under the License Details section of the request form, and will provide the requestor with a home-use license number.  The user is responsible for renewing the license each year.

Any Wright State University faculty or staff having questions about obtaining Mathematica for home use should contact Phil Neff via phone (775-3114) or e-mail (phil.neff@wright.edu).
