Supported Systems

 

Minimum Hardware Requirements

Wright State recommends the following computer types and configurations for connection in the residence halls:

Intel/Microsoft Windows Platform
Intel Pentium 650mHz processor
256mb RAM (512mb strongly recommended)
3com or Intel network card
10gb Hard Drive
CD-ROM

17" Display at 1024x768
Windows 2000 (XP Pro strongly recommended)

* The minimum hardware requirements are only for machines to be placed on the network. Your computer may meet the requirements to be placed on the network, but these requirements may not be fast enough for your operating system. Please check the minimum requirements set by Microsoft to determine if you have the proper operating system.

Note:

CaTS only supports and guarantees the functionality of Intel and 3Com 3c209, 3c905, and 3c589 ethernet adapter cards.

Software is available for checkout at the Dunbar Library circulation desk. Visit the Microsoft Enterprise License Agreement site for more information.


Loans for Systems

You may go to any lender of your choice or Student Loan Funding can provide you with a loan. Currently they have a priority loan available that anyone may receive pending a credit check. You may apply on-line for these loans and receive instant notification. For more information please visit.
