Full Policy (Effective Date: February 1, 2001)

  1. Classroom Services will maintain an inventory of bulbs for projectors in labs/classrooms that are not normally serviced by CTS. These non-CTS spaces must be registered with CTS in order to be included as part of the bulb inventory. Clients can register their non-CTS projectors by calling the Classroom Support Supervisor.
  2. The requesting department will be billed for installation (standard CTS labor fee) and replacement cost. If CTS does not have a particular bulb in its inventory, the Classroom Support Supervisor will order two bulbs that are billed to the requesting department. One bulb will replace the burned out bulb in the projector, and the other bulb will be put into the CTS lamp inventory.
  3. CTS will not service projectors that are privately owned or surplussed. In addition, CTS will not service projectors that are not registered with CTS.
  4. Projection bulbs may be sold to Wright State University departments as long as the sale does not hinder the regular day-to-day operations of CTS.
