Rules of the Road
Students taking advantage of the Laptops-2-Go Laptop Loan program agree to
terms and conditions as defined in the
Equipment Use and Liability Agreement.
Here is a summary of some of the key points detailed in the document:
- Students accept full responsibility for the equipment
- There are late fees for equipment not returned by the time due
- There are fines if equipment is damaged, lost or stolen
- If the laptop is not returned within 24 hours, it will be reported as theft to the appropriate law enforcement agency
- Any personal files stored on the hard drive should be deleted before it is returned
- The computer should not be loaned by the student to a third party
- The computer is to be used on campus and in the residence areas only and should not be taken off campus
Students should read and understand the
Equipment Use and Liability Agreement
before signing it.
