SSL ENCRYPTION
What is SSL Encryption?In the continuing effort to eliminate spam, CaTS now requires all users with an @wright.edu email address
to enable Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption for sending and receiving university email. SSL is simply a way to make sure others
cannot view your password or email content while its being sent or received. This requirement includes anyone using the Internet Message
Access Protocol (IMAP), Post Office Protocol (POP), and Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) protocols. Any user who checks their email with
anything other than the WINGS web-based email system falls into one of the protocols above, and are required to enable SSL. For configuration

so that you can determine which one you use or would like to use.
