1.0 Configure Dial-Up Networking
  1. Double-click My Computer.
  2. Double-click Dial-Up Networking.
    The Dial-Up Networking window will appear.

  3. Click New to create a new phone book entry.
    The New Phonebook Entry Wiizard will begin.

  4. Type WSU Network for the name of the New Phonebook entry. Leave the I know all about phonebook entries and would rather edit the Properties directly checkbox blank.
  5. Click Next .
    The Server window will appear.

  6. Make sure the I am calling the Internet box is checked.
  7. Click Next .
    The Phone Number window will appear.

  8. Type
             879-8968(Faculty)
             878-3473(Staff)
             879-8720(Students)
             879-8958(SOM)
     in the Phone Number field. Make sure the Use Telephone dialing properties box is not checked.
  9. Click Next and click Finish.
    You will return to the Dial-Up Networking window. Your new information will be reflected in the Phonebook entry to dial and Phone number preview fields.
  10. Click More , located directly below the Phonebook entry to dial field.

  11. Click Edit Entry and Modem Properties.
    The Edit Phonebook Entry window will appear.

  12. Click the Server tab.
  13. Make sure that only TCP/IP is checked in the Network Protocols section.
  14. Click the Security tab.

  15. Make sure Accept any authentication including clear text is checked.
  16. Click OK.

2.0 Make a Connection
  1. From the Dial-Up Networking window, click the Dial button.
    The Connect to WSU Network window will appear.

  2. Type your CAMPUS username and password in the appropriate fields. Leave the Domain field blank.
  3. Make sure the Save Password box is checked.
  4. Click OK.
