African-American Women in Professional Psychology (AAWIPP)

CJ McLin Scholars Association
--Designed to provide students who are members of an underrepresented ethnic group (African American, Asian or Pacific Islander, Hispanic or Native American/Alaska Native) access to higher education and opportunities to participate in activities that will develop and enrich leadership abilities.  (University College)

Lambda Union
--Supports, educates, and provides outreach mentoring and advocacy to the GLBT (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered) community and its heterosexual allies. (Office of Student Life)

National Society for Black Engineers (NSBE)
--The program's goal is to provide mentoring and support services and to encourage members of under-represented groups to pursue careers in the engineering field. (College of Engineering & Computer Science)

Wright Engineering Council
--A mentoring program that teams an upperclass engineering student with a first-year pre-engineering student. The program focuses on interaction between the mentor and mentee during the fall academic term. The purpose of the peer-mentoring program is to assist the first year students with the adjustment to being at the university. The focus is on the development of college success techniques such as improving study and time management skills. (College of Engineering & Computer Science)
