Terry Bouquot (B.S.B. 1990)
Terry Bouquot has been named senior director of business operations for the Northern Cincinnati market by Cox Media Group Ohio. He has been with Cox for more than 18 years in various sales and management roles, beginning at the Dayton Daily News and including stints at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and CMG Ohio’s Southwest Ohio Newspaper Group.

Angela Yake is one of 65 fellows selected for the inaugural class of the Woodrow Wilson Ohio Teaching Fellowship. Yake received a $30,000 stipend to complete a special intensive master’s program at the University of Cincinnati. Every fellow makes a commitment to teach for at least three years in a high-need urban or rural school in the state of Ohio.

Scott Miller named as the new general manager of City Utilities of Springfield
Scott Miller has been the Associate General Manager for Electric Supply at City Utilities of Springfield (CU) and has been with the Utility since 2002. His current responsibilities include the safe, reliable and efficient operations of the electric generating system, electric dispatch/market interface, transmission planning, generation planning and fuel procurement for the generating assets. Scott also is a member of the CU Executive Committee and is involved with the overall management of the Utility through involvement on the key oversight committees of Project Steering (budget), Compensation (Human Resource/employee performance), Information Technology Steering (Chair), Natural Gas Options (customer risk management) and Compliance. Key accomplishments include:
- Successful management and completion of the $555M Southwest 2 Project
- Management of The Energy Authority (Board and Settlement Committee)
- Smoky Hills 50 MW wind generation contract in 2009
- Completion of the Noble Hill Landfill Renewable Energy Center in 2006
- McCartney Peaking Station in 2002
- Chair of the Board and Executive Committee for Missouri Public Utility Alliance
- Responsible for 211 personnel with an annual budget of $190M
Prior to City Utilities, Scott was the Director of Steam Generation for The Dayton Power and Light Company where he served on the Executive Committee. Responsibilities included the management of a 3,000 MW generating asset fleet and coordination of another 1,250 MW of generation across three states with asset partners. Key accomplishments included:
- Successful completion of a system-wide environmental capital program of $190M
- Management of 460 employees with annual operating budgets of $70M

Julie (Mills) Edmonson just celebrated her 10th anniversary with LexisNexis in Dayton. During those years she has worked in Royalty Accounting, Public Records Business Management, Content Services Information Analysis and Technology Business Management. For the past two years, Edmonson has served as a senior financial analyst in Shared Services Accounting. Since her oldest child was born in 2000, she has worked part time. Edmonson's younger brother, Joe Mills (M.I.S., '00), also works for LexisNexis. Joe, who has Muscular Dystrophy, works from home using his voice-activated computer. After Edmonson's graduation from WSU, she obtained a masters degree in business administration from the University in Dayton, with a concentration in MIS. She married another WSU alumnus, Chuck Edmonson (B.S., '94), and the couple is expecting their third child in January.

James Lance was named Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer of BonTon, effective November 2003. Lance now reports to James H. Baireuther, Vice Chairman and Chief Administrative Officer. Prior to joining BonTon, Lance was Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer, for The Elder-Beerman Stores Corp. of Dayton, Ohio. He was with Elder-Beerman for 33 years, beginning his career in systems development, and serving in a number of development and management roles before being named Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer, in 1987. Lance is a graduate of Wright State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. He was recently appointed as a founding member of Wright State’s Information Systems Advisory Board.

Kathryn A. Pothier just celebrated her first anniversary as a senior vice president of commercial banking at Citizen’s Bank in Oakland County, Michigan. At Citizen’s Bank, Pothier is part of the leadership team for Southeast Michigan, an area in which the bank is experiencing rapid growth, recently opening two offices hubs and 14 new branches. Prior to her move to Citizen’s Bank, Pothier worked in commercial banking at Bank One for 13 years. Her community activities include serving as the chair of the board of directors for the Children’s Leukemia Foundation, and as a mentor with Big Brothers/Big Sisters. In 2002, Pothier was named a distinguished nominee for Executive Woman of the Year.
