Alpha Kappa Epsilon is an International Business Honor Society organized exclusively for educational,scientific, and charitable purposes. Its main values are:

Mission
To recognize and promote academic achievement, applied scholarship, best practices, and principled professional activity in international business and trade for educational, scientific, and charitable purposes.
Objectives
- Recognize outstanding undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and international business and trade practitioners who exemplify academic or professional excellence in International Business and Trade
- Encourage quality scholarship, original investigation, and professional service in International Business and Trade
- Facilitate collaboration between International Business and Trade students, faculty, and practitioners
- Recognize and promote professional achievement in International Business and Trade
Membership Requirements
Juniors (any major)
- Complete at least 50% of your degree
- Complete at least one International Business course
- Be in the upper one-fourth of your class or have a 3.0 GPA or higher
Seniors any major)
- Complete at least 70% of your degree
- Complete at least two International Business courses
- Be in the upper one-fourth of your class or have a 3.0 GPA or higher
Graduate students
- Complete at least one International Business course
- Be in the upper one-fourth of your class or have a 3.2 GPA or higher
Faculty/Staff
- Teach courses or conduct research in International Business
- Promote International Business or Trade endeavors on and off campus
Associate members
- Demonstrate noteworthy achievement in International Business or Trade
Honorary members
- Earn a national, international, or widely recognized professional reputation in International Business or Trade
Membership Benefits
- Network with International Business and Trade faculty and professionals
- Attend seminars and conferences
- Participate in social events
- Stay abreast of International Business trends and practices
Membership Initiation Fees
Student and Associate members
- Initiation fee will be $35
Faculty and Staff members
- Initiation fee will be $50
