Raj Soin College of Business’ Eta Psi Chapter Internationally Recognized as Superior Chapter
Dr. Jim Greenspan and Eta Psi Chapter were awarded the title of Superior Chapter for their successful efforts throughout the 2010-2011 school year.
Recognition as Superior Chapter is a significant accomplishment. Under the leadership of Dr. Greenspan, the Eta Psi Chapter far exceeded the minimum requirements of Beta Alpha Psi and excelled in the areas of academics, professionalism, and leadership.

Wright State Accounting Students Place Third in Deloitte’s Battle of Ohio Case Competition
Four Wright State University students earned third place in this year’s Deloitte Battle of Ohio case competition. Several Deloitte consulting professionals judged the competition.
The team comprised of Jason Bruns, Alex Chuna, Amanda Geier and Jessica Berry had just one week to prepare for the case which involved a consulting project for the athletic apparel company, UnderArmour. The students, all accounting majors, drew upon their knowledge in marketing, logistics, supply chain management, international business and strategy in making recommendations for the strategic direction of the company.

Accounting students qualify for an unprecedented fourteenth time at IMA National Competition
Wright State accounting students placed in the final four for the fourteenth time at the 2011 Institute for Management Accountants (IMA) national competition. The students’ analysis of the case and fifteen-minute video presentation earned the team the opportunity to be one of four teams nationwide to compete before the IMA panel of judges in Orlando. Wright State Students Win National Society for the Advancement of Management Case Competition – Bringing Home Top Honors for the Tenth Consecutive Year
Raj Soin College of Business students have chalked up another first and second place at the National Society for Advancement of Management Case Competition. By placing first, second or third in the nation for ten consecutive years, Wright State students have won a total of eighteen awards, more than any other university in the nation. Read more |

The Wright State Human Resources Club continued the Club’s tradition of excellence by receiving another Superior Merit Award from the Society of Human Resources Management, the leading professional organization in the field. WSU's Financial Planning Students make history at National Invitational
Three seniors from Wright State’s Raj Soin College of Business made history recently when they earned two first place trophies at the National Collegiate Financial Planning Invitational, sponsored by Ameriprise Financial. Wright State MBA Students Top-Ranked on Two Continents in Google Online Marketing Challenge
Two MBA student teams from Wright State’s Raj Soin College of Business were among the top 50 semi-finalists in the 2008 Google Online Marketing Challenge in the entire North and South America region. More than 1600 student teams from 47 countries took part in this global online marketing competition. The teams received $200 dollars of free online advertising with Google AdWords to develop an effective online marketing campaign for a local business. An international panel of judges evaluated the students’ marketing recommendations, their online advertising campaign and their ability to monitor and adjust results for their clients. Two additional Wright State MBA teams were also recognized in the top ten per cent in the finals for North and South America. “This worldwide recognition certainly underscores the caliber of our MBA students and the quality of our marketing curriculum. Each team member demonstrated their outstanding ability to combine insightful marketing strategies and leading-edge technology to improve business results for their clients,” said Charles Gulas, Associate Professor of Marketing, who also evaluated the students’ efforts in their upper-level MBA marketing classes. MBA Students Rank in Top 50 in International Google On Line Marketing Challenge - Watch the WDTN News Story
For the second year in a row, MBA marketing students ranked in the Top 50 in the Google Online Marketing Challenge. This year's competition included 2,187 teams from 57 countries. One Wright State team placed in the Top 50 semi-finalist category and both teams placed in the top ten percent among all teams competing in North and South America. The Top 50 team was comprised of Kelly Kreiger, Jameika Sampson, Lindsay Gibbs, Amber Maham and Angie Morris.
