Department of Biological Sciences Retreat 2009

Our faculty use a wide range of tools to investigate questions at several levels of organization. The diverse faculty interests provide students with research and educational opportunities in three broad areas of excellence. While some faculty work primarily within one of these areas, many use similar approaches or have overlapping interests, leading to productive collaborations among these three groups and other disciplines, such as chemistry, earth science, and physics.
