Course Work

The candidate is required to complete a minimum of 45 credit hours. At least 30 hours must be at the 600-800 level in Biological Sciences and related fields.

Full-time students with an assistantship (GTA, GRA, Tuition Fellowships, support from grants), are required to be registered for a minimum of 12 credit hours for the academic year and summer. 15 credit hours are recommended.

Each student must complete this tutorial given by the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs during the first quarter of graduate work.

A completed certificate is required and will be placed in candidate¹s file by the end of the first quarter.
