Applied Physiology Concentration

One of the B.S. programs in Biological Sciences is the Applied Physiology Concentration. This track is appropriate for students who desire a strong preparation in human biology and preparation for a career in a variety of heath fields. Students who graduated from the BS program entered professional schools in physical therapy, occupational therapy, chiropractic school, physician assistant, medical school, dental school, nursing, cardiac rehabilitation, audiology, and various programs in hospitals. In addition, students are well prepared to enter graduate school to continue their education.

The Exercise Biology Laboratory is the central teaching/research laboratory that includes facilities, equipment, space, and technology for study and research, including extensive cardiopulmonary, body composition, and chemical assessments.
