Exercise Biology
The B.S. program
in Exercise Biology is appropriate for students who desire a strong
preparation in human biology. This major could lead to further graduate
study in any field related to human biology as well as careers in medicine
and other health sciences (e.g., physical therapy), exercise physiology,
medical equipment and pharmaceutical development and sales, or education.
The M.S. program
in Exercise Physiology is appropriate for students who wish to continue
their education in human biology through focused study in physiology, cardiopulmonary
rehabilitation, fitness and wellness programs, and applied research.
The Exercise Biology Laboratory is the central teaching/research
laboratory that includes facilities, equipment, space, and technology
for study and research, including extensive cardiopulmonary, body composition,
and chemical assessments.
