The Global Change Ecologist and the Molecular Ecologist positions have been filled.
The Molecular Biologist position has been readvertised and acceptance of applications has been extended. Preferences have been removed from the position description in order to experience a larger, more generalized pool of candidates.
January 2008
The search continues for three tenure-track faculty positions in the Department. See separate information regarding criteria and position description. Refer to listing on the left.
The three searches are ongoing; however, each is in a different stage. The Global Change Ecologist position is currently in the interview stage. Four individuals have been contacted and are scheduled for interviews. The Molecular Ecologist position has been approved through Affirmative Actions to declare a short list of candidates. Interviews will be scheduled for the four finalists within the next week or two. The Molecular Biologist had the largest applicant pool, and has thus, required a longer period of time to determine a short list. This search has now requested letters of reference from those individuals on the short list.
