AMAZON EXPEDITION FIELD COURSE
 
NOV – DEC 2008 INTERSESSION COURSE
 
 This field course in Ecuador is designed to provide students with first-hand knowledge and experience in some of the richest ecosystems on earth. The course will introduce students to a diverse tropical rainforest, where they will engage in ecological inquiry and research projects, using various field techniques.
The Amazon course will take place at the Tiputini Biodiversity Station, located in the Yasuni National Park, Ecuador, S. A.
 
Prerequisite:  All students must register and complete the
  Amazon Expedition: (BIO 201/401/701), offered Fall 2008, in order to attend the Amazon Expedition Field Course.
