About

The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology was founded in 1974 concurrently with the creation of the Wright State University School of Medicine. You can study under faculty members with strong research interests in the basic biomedical sciences. Choose from a variety of courses in biological and medical fields, assist with world-class research, and help provide university and community service to Wright State employees, students, and the Dayton community. The department faculty lead several research initiatives and includes the Center for Genomics Research.

Department Seminar Series

Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Seminars take place weekly during fall and spring semesters.

BMB/BMS Brown Bag Seminars (BMB 8000/BMS 9900) also are scheduled during the academic year.
