National Survey of Student Engagement

View NSSE data (.xls format)

Wright State University first administered the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) in the
Spring of 2001 and then again in the Spring of 2004, Spring 2006 and Spring 2008.
The NSSE,  The College Student Report, measures student engagement in many important
activities that research studies have shown to have a positive relationship to learning and
personal development. The College Student Report asks undergraduate students about their
college experiences- how they spend their time,  what they feel they've gained from their classes,
their assessment of the quality of their interactions with faculty and friends, and other important
indicators of student engagement.
