Spring 2007 Institutional Assessment
Student Characteristics and Success
The data for the University Assessment website provide a five-year
overview of Wright State
students, from their entry into the University to their
success while enrolled. It begins with
demographic descriptors: how well
prepared are entering freshmen? What percentage of
students are enrolled
full-time? Are most from the immediate region or elsewhere? How
many
live on campus? Answers to these questions, coupled with analysis of the
diversity of
WSU Students, offer a preliminary picture of the students we serve,
and ways they have
changed from Fall 2003 to Fall 2007. What these students
expect from their education, their
level of satisfaction, and the success they
achieve complete the picture.
