"Receiving the scholarship meant that I could pursue my dream career without worrying that I would have to take a break from school for monetary reasons."

Tell us more about you and your life, your profession, and your successes.

I have been working at Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati as an acting apprentice since August, and will be in residency there until July 2019. I also worked on the national premiere of the Another Brick in the Wall opera based off of Roger Water's album this summer.

What is your favorite Wright State memory?

My favorite memory was getting to put up a production of one of my all-time favorite scripts, The Pillowman by Martin McDonaugh, in the Jubilee Directing Lab.

What did receiving the ARTSGALA scholarship mean to you?

Receiving the scholarship meant that I could pursue my dream career without worrying that I would have to take a break from school for monetary reasons. I wouldn't have been able to continually afford my education without the scholarship.

Is there anything else you’d like to share?

This program can be hard, and it can wear you down, but the rewards of finishing the professional actor training program make all of the hard work worth it in the end. We are sent into the professional world with the knowledge to make our careers thrive, and I appreciate the education that I received more than words can describe.
