Volunteer Opportunities
The WSU Alumni Association has many opportunities
in which you may contribute. The strength and longevity of the
Association is dependent on the assistance of the
members. A few of the opportunities in which you may contribute
are listed below. Please contribute to your Association in one
of these ways or in any way you feel capable and willing.

Programs
The Wright State University Alumni Association
conducts or sponsors several programs to support our alumni.
Alumni are encouraged to contact the Association for assistance.
Current programs are described below.
Legacy Scholarships:
To assist WSU students who, as a priority, are children of alumni;
to gain recognition and support the university's most pressing
need.
Distinguished Alumni
Achievement: Enhance image of the university and Alumni
Association by displaying achievement; gain recognition; alumni
involvement through nomination and committee selection process.
Alumnews:
Significant communication for Association members. Image development;
good public relations; source of conducting Association business
(election, golf outing, Teaching Excellence, Alumni Achievement, and university news.
Volunteer Award Recognition:
Thank those volunteers who really made things happen; give more
opportunity to get involved and cultivate key members.
Alumni Career Services:
To provide career assistance through WSU Career Services. Enhance
image of Association; increase membership, cultivate key alumni,
create tremendous good will, make outstanding contacts in the
business/corporate sector; provide a volunteer opportunity for
members.
Athletic Oriented Programming:
Public relations; communication; mass exposure; image development;
cultivation of key alumni and corporate contacts through entertainment
factor; through appropriate promotion membership development
and supporting a key component of any major university.
Constituency Development/Reunion
Programs: Increased membership; increased scholarship; better
career networking capabilities; potential for recruiting students.
Chapter Development:
