Crosstown Schools

While Wright State University is home to Detachment 643, students from many other schools can join as well. Those other schools are called “crosstown schools”. The two largest are Cedarville University and University of Dayton. Historically over the past five years, Detachment 643 cadets have been roughly 40% Wright State University, 35% Cedarville University, 20% University of Dayton, and 5% other crosstown schools.

As the largest crosstown schools, Cedarville and University of Dayton provide transportation for cadets to and from AFROTC classes and activities hosted on Wright State’s campus. Students at another crosstown will need to find transportation to Wright State for all AFROTC classes and activities.

Below is a list of some of our common crosstown schools:

  • Antioch College
  • Cedarville University
  • Central State University
  • Clark State Community College
  • Kettering College
  • Sinclair Community College
  • Southern State Community College
  • University of Dayton
  • Wilmington College
  • Wittenberg University

If your school is not on this list, please let us know and we will try to find a solution for you to join the program.
