New Student Orientation

*** This is a mandatory event for all incoming students. Unless you have a class scheduled you are expected to attend. ***

The 643rd Air Force ROTC Detachment, located at Wright State University, is happy to host the New Student Orientation Program (NSOP) for all incoming cadets prior to the start of the Fall 2018 semester on 21 August.

Welcome to Det 643 at Wright State University. We would like to invite you to attend the NSOP at Wright State University Campus. NSOP is a cadet and cadre run event designed to welcome new students to the ROTC Program.  This one day program will familiarize new cadets with the basics of Air Force ROTC and both student and cadet life at WSU.  Most importantly, it provides an opportunity for students and parents to see what our program is all about and facilitate a smooth transition into college and ROTC. This web site provides all the essential information needed to attend NSOP.  The tabs listed at the top of the page are intended to be read in detail by prospective cadets.  Please carefully read and complete all the required steps. Pay specific attention to the "Required Paperwork" tab, as these items are required for participation in NSOP. Do not hesitate to contact us with any questions that you might have.

Once again, welcome to the program and we look forward to meeting you all!

NOTE: NSOP is supervised by active duty detachment officers and is conducted in an at ease environment of training.
