Matthew Bertke

The Lake Campus of Wright State University offers small class sizes which allows me to get to know my professors inside and outside of the classroom.

Mackenzie, Junior

My biggest fear about college was my efforts going unnoticed. My high school graduating class was 50 students, making the transition to a university seemingly impossible. Upon my arrival to Wright State, I soon realized the impact I would have. Wright State is a comfortable size in which you can achieve as much as you work for.

Becca, Junior

When I first visited Wright State, I fell in love with the campus instantaneously. The surrounding beauty of the university was the first thing that enticed me to make this my home. When I decided to further my education, I knew I wanted to go away from home, but close enough to keep in touch with my family. I also found Wright State to be financially fitting for my circumstances and have been able to get a quality education at less of a financial burden.

Evan, Freshman

Before deciding to attend Wright State I did a campus tour. The tour guide was a current student and she took the time to visit both of the academic colleges that I'm considering for my major. The campus was much bigger and more modern than I expected. I was definitely impressed.

Joshua, Senior

My favorite experience has been fraternity life. My sophomore year I had the opportunity of a lifetime to become a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. This fraternity has helped me with my academic life, personal life, and offered me a brotherhood like no other.

Katie, Junior

In my experience, professors look to offer any available help to students. For instance, I worked with a professor on a daily basis during their office hours my freshman year for a Chemistry class. I struggled, but with their guidance and suggestions I completed the class with an A. After seeing my dedication and determination in the classroom, the professor has written several letters of recommendation for me.

Addison Huizenga

My career goal is to be Addison Huizenga RN BSN. I want to work in a Level 1 Trauma Center. Wright State is preparing me for this by constantly pushing me a little further each day. I always feel like I have support from friends and faculty members telling me I can do it. That is a really good feeling.

Nolan, Junior

Come and visit campus! I was originally planning to attend a different university until I stepped foot on Wright State's campus. I attended an Open House and asked the staff and faculty about Wright State and it is everything they said it was going to be.

Stephanie Patino-Garfias

My parents are more than happy that I attend Wright State University. They feel included which is a feeling they don't usually receive from institutions that I have attended, all thanks to the bilingual faculty members and friends. Also, the great opportunities that Wright State has offered me, make my parents happy and positive that I made the right choice.

Andrew, Junior

Andrew Polenakovik
I decided to attend Wright State for two reasons, money and distance to my home. I knew I wanted to be close to home so I could save money for my dreams of going to dental school.

Katelyn, Sophomore

My biggest fear was taking large classes and not knowing how to ask the professor questions. Classes do not feel too big and the professors are there for you to ask many questions during their office hours. And the Student Success Center has tutors or help for every class!

Tyler, Junior

One of my favorite classes has been Principles of Marketing. The professor used a lot of real-world examples and experiences.
