Bolinga Black Cultural Resource Center
The Center provides a variety of special programs, activities, and student
services that celebrate individual cultural identity while fostering lasting
friendships among all groups of people. The Center began as a tribute to
the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.. The word "Bolinga" means love
in Lingala, an African language. The Bolinga Center functions as an advocate for academic,
cultural, and personal concerns of Wright State's African American students.
Cultural and educational programs include a Minority Speakers Series, Community
Speakers Series, and an Educational Film/Video Series.
