Getting Involved:
As a tour guide, I really like pointing out all the neat things on campus; how it's known for being accessible to students with disabilities, the fantastic library and computer labs that are open 24/7, and the tunnels that connect you to all the buildings. I even show them places where they can go for a quiet retreat to study, to get time to yourself.
A Little Advice:
Be sure to get involved in all the Welcome Week activities designed for freshmen. It gets your foot in the door to campus life, and introduces you to new friends. You'll meet your professors and learn where your classes are before school starts. You won't be left out to dry as a new student! |
