Who's Eligible

To be eligible to receive federal student aid, you must:

  1. Have a high school diploma, GED or high school education in a home school setting.
  2. Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student working toward a degree or certification.
  3. Be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen.
  4. Have a valid Social Security Number.
  5. Certify that you will use federal student aid for educational purposes.
  6. Certify that you are not in default on a federal student loan and that you do not you owe money on a federal student grant.
  7. Be registered with the Selective Service, if required.
  8. For current Wright State students, meet WSU's standards of Satisfactory Academic Progress.
