The Trustee's Plaza project will start on June 14th and be completed in time for the start of fall classes on September 7th. The flags will need to be removed prior to this date. The project will renovate the highly deteriorated concrete and replace it with brick pavers and will tie the quad area together with the brick pavers near University Hall and Math and Micro. The project's main feature will be a newly designed plaza with a new water feature along with decorative landscaping. The plaza which currently is not ADA accessible will be made so as part of this project. The existing flagpole will be removed and replaced with a more accessible pole that has an internal halyard system operated by a removable crank. This pole has been reviewed and approved by ODS. The project has been awarded to Smith and White Construction and Frye Mechanical.
Construction costs for this project: $287,206.00
