The goal of the Office of Risk Management is to proactively identify, analyze and minimize threats to life, property and business operations to the University community. The Office will accomplish this goal by cooperatively working with diverse stakeholders to achieve practical, cost-effective risk management solutions.
Support to all departments, faculty, staff and students.
Oversight of the university's commercial property and casualty insurance program.
Help in developing and reviewing Wright Way Policies and procedures.
Oversight of the Wright State University's Emergency Response Plan.
Certificates of Insurance to meet contractual obligations.
Evaluation of possible sources of loss, and recommend or develop cost effective methods to control the exposures.
Reporting of Wright State University's property content and values.
Motor Vehicle Reports (MVR) for drivers of unviersity owned, leased, loaned, or rented vehicles.
Coordination of annual facilities inspections for insurance purposes.
Certificate of insurance requests and insurance claims handling.
Business continuity planning development oversight.
