The Center is staffed by three professionals and dedicated, part-time student staff members:

Amber Vlasnik, Director amber.vlasnik@wright.edu My name is Amber Vlasnik and I am the director of the Women's Center. I have a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish from St. Norbert College and a M.A. in Gender, Law, and Higher Education from Louisiana State University. I started at Wright State in December 2005 and I am proud to work for gender equity and inclusion on campus. I hope that you will come by the Women's Center to get involved or to let us know how we can help you succeed at Wright State!

Cindy Vanzant, Coordinator cindy.vanzant@wright.edu My name is Cindy Vanzant and I am the coordinator, dividing my time between the Women's Center and the Women's Studies Program. I have a B.A. in Women's Studies and a M.A. in Applied Behavioral Science, both from Wright State University. I have been at Wright State since 1993 and have been in the Women's Center since 1994. The Women's Center is a great place and I am delighted to have been here so long! Come see us!

Shaunté Russell, Program Assistant shaunte.russell@wright.edu My name is Shaunté Russell and I became the Women's Center's program assistant in September 2006. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2001 with a B.A. in Communication and in 2002 with a B.A. in English. I am currently working on an M.A. in English at Wright State University. I have been doing programming for years and I am extremely happy to join the Women's Center team. I hope you'll come join us this year in celebrating women's strengths and triumphs.
