Building Community and Inclusive Opportunities

The Wright State University Women's Center serves women on campus and in the surrounding areas through facilitating connections, providing resources, and advocating for equitable experiences and opportunities for all people. The center actively seeks to create an environment in which women are supported, encouraged, and less isolated than what has been documented historically.

Scholarships Available for Undergraduate Students

The WSU Women’s Center is pleased to offer and/or administer three scholarship programs.  These scholarships are made possible by our generous donors, who believe in the abilities and talents of women students and want to encourage their success at Wright State.  Detailed information about the history, purpose, and eligibility of each scholarship can be found on our Scholarships & Opportunities page.  Please note, that a complete application packet includes the application form, an 800 word essay, and a signed Release of Information form.  Additionally,  the SCARF Child Care Scholarship also requires a Recommendation Form which is included in the packet.

All scholarship applications for the 2009-2010 academic year are due in the Women's Center by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2009.  If you have questions not answered in the application packet, please contact Amber Vlasnik at amber.vlasnik@wright.edu or 775-4524.
