Beginning April 15th, 2008, the Bureau of Criminal Identification and
Investigation (BCI) will require that all requests for Ohio civilian and
FBI applicant background checks be submitted electronically
through the use of WebCheck and the National WebCheck System, or other
approved methods.
There are more than 2000 WebCheck and National Webcheck locations now
available to persons seeking employment related background checks.
These locations are listed by county on the Attorney General's website at:
http://www.webcheck.ag.state.oh.us/webcheckcommunity.htm The
agencies which have the NWC designation after their name are National
WebCheck Agencies, and are designed for processing both BCI and FBI
background checks electronically.
