In 1989, Wright State University developed a hazard communication program to give all employees the right to know about any type of hazard they may encounter while performing their duties. The written plan covers proper labeling of all chemicals, access to and location of material safety data sheets and employee training. The program complies with OSHA's Standard for Hazard Communication (29 CFR 1910.1200).
Compliance with this program at Wright State University is mandatory.
