Capital Projects

In 2004, the Board of Trustees approved spending on design and construction of several major projects. The facilities under construction or renovation were approved because they best support the needs identified in the University Strategic Plan. The goal for superior educational facilities is foremost. In many of the projects, one will see a commitment to outstanding classrooms, computer labs, and science and medical laboratories. The second focus is on development of interdisciplinary research labs, allowing accommodation of new partnerships and funded research. The third goal is creation of excellent student facilities to improve quality of life for both residential and commuter students.


Infrastructure Projects

Every two years, Wright State University receives funding from the State of Ohio to be used for major repair and replacement of systems. This is known as the Basic Renovation Program. Projects funded from this source include roof replacements, mechanical and electrical equipment upgrades and exterior upgrades. Following is a partial listing of projects currently being funded:
