Typography

A uniform type style is essential to projecting a consistent image of Wright State University. Typography is a specific form of communication. By carefully selecting type, the designer imparts to the printed page a quality that helps dramatize the contents.

The type styles shown below have been selected and authorized as the official typefaces for body text because of their compatibility with the university marks, their clarity, and their suitability for all media. The selection of typefaces will be reviewed periodically and may be changed to reflect current marketing trends.

The Office of Communications and Marketing and Printing Services are approved to use additional selected typefaces for uses such as display, graphic, headline, initial cap, and pull-out quotes.
