Computer Software and Television Applications

All computer software applications and television productions produced by any office or department of Wright State University and intended for off-campus use or viewing should reflect the university's identity standards through approved use of the university primary marks, typefaces, and color. Any representation of university marks must be approved by the Office of Communications and Marketing. Below are general university identity guidelines.

Television Applications

Television applications include educational, instructional, and information video presentations.

Primary Marks

The university primary corporate or word mark can be displayed on the initial visual, page, or file of a production after approval from the Office of Communications and Marketing. Special adaptations have been made to the primary marks to accommodate the unique needs of television, such as color and visual vibrations, so clarity, color, and readability can be maintained as best as possible.

Typographic Treatment

Approved typefaces shall be used in a consistent manner whenever possible. When approved typefaces are not available, select the typeface that most resembles an approved one. (See Typography for more information about typography.)

Color Treatment

Color selection should follow the guidelines set forth in the Colors section. Since there is no color standard in television, find the closest approximation to the colors specified for print.
