The Lounge is a place where you can hang out and talk to your friends here at the Writing Center. Catch up on the latest Writing Center news, pop on over to our Facebook page and see what people are saying and doing, or read up on our latest blog entries.

About the Blogs
Our newest blog is called writing.bytes. writing.bytes. is hosted by the students who work at the Writing Center with contributions from faculty here at Wright State. It's a place where you can find out how successful student writers approach their assignments. Contributing faculty explain why they assign the writing that they do. Maybe we can even get them to give us some tips on how to read and understand their assignments better so we can help you write better papers. We invite you to check in often with comments and questions.
Our other blog is called Beyond the Written Word. We call it btw2 for short. btw2 is basically a blog about writing for your career. We know that writing doesn't always seem that important outside of school, but it really is. We figured this would be a great way for you to learn more about what kind of writing goes on in the "real" world and hear from actual employers and professionals about how writing impacts their daily work lives. Again, we invite you to check in often and leave questions and comments for the host and his guests.
