Writing Center & Language Log:

Each week you will have a mandatory, regular appointment with a consultant in the University Writing Center. You will spend that hour working on 2 things :

  1. Invention, revising, or editing of an assigned essay.
  2. The language log (including grammar exercises, if you wish.)
You may NOT work on the following in the Writing Center :
  1. Drafting of an essay or journal.
  2. Reading assignments for the course.
The language log will work very much like the reading journal. You will answer a set of questions regarding language and grammar.
