Students enrolled in this university must register for Air Force ROTC (AFROTC) Aerospace Studies (AES) classes through Wright State University using the SOCHE crosstown form. Click here to download a pdf version of the "Application Form". The completed form must be signed by your school's registrar and then submitted to the registrar's office at Wright State University. For beginning Freshmen your AFROTC instructor will assist you in class with the registration process. To determine which AES class you should register for, please contact AFROTC Det 643.
The academic portion of Air Force ROTC is referred to as the Aerospace Studies class. In AES class cadets learn topics including the history of the United States military and the Air Force, military doctrine, and leadership principles. Class occurs once a week for all cadets, with the freshman and sophomore classes taking place at each school and upper level cadets traveling to Wight State University.

In addition to AES academics, AFROTC Cadets will also take part in Leadership Lab at the Wright State University campus on Tuesday evenings. All Leadership Labs will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Tuesdays at Wright State University. Registration in Leadership Lab is required for all students.
Physical training sessions will be held at Wright State University, Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 - 7:30 AM at the Nutter Center, Mclin Gym. Physical training is not an official class; therefore, registration is not necessary, although participation is required.
