In the laboratory the student is able to see first hand how the principles of physics are demonstrated. Throughout the centuries scientists have conceived and implemented experimental setups to show the world concretely these basic principles in a variety of ways. The experiments listed in the Physics Laboratory Manual, Sounds and Colors Laboratory Manual, Physics of the Solar System Laboratory Manual, and the Stars, Galaxies, and the Cosmos Laboratory Manual, are but a few of the myriad of experiments available to the student, but represent the material taught in the corresponding lecture course.

Frequently Asked Questions (With Answers)
Everybody has a slightly different way of interpreting the written material in the laboratory manual. This section will attempt to alleviate the problems that usually arise with each experiment. Of course, if you just can't find the answer to your question here you can always ask your teaching assistant, or the laboratory manager.
