Graduate Assistantships

Graduate assistantships can be offered dependent upon availability. Most fall under the following categories:

  • Graduate Teaching Assistantships (GTA's)
GTA's provide tuition payments and an academic year stipend. Summer support is conditional upon availability. The recipient is expected to teach an average of 20 hours a week.
  • We do anticipate a number of openings for Fall 2005.

  • Graduate Research Assistantships (GRA's)
GRA's provide tuition payments and a 12-month stipend. The recipient is expected to do research an average of 20 hours a week.

Currently, there is available a one-year GRA position in bioinformatics with Dr. Brent Foy and a summer GRA in atmospheric physics with Dr. Jane Fox.
